when we got there we were given someone else room; we went back to the front desk; she said there were all booked. When they finally gave us a room it was dirty and with a heavy smoke smell, the outlets did not work. This was by far one of the worse hotels we have stayed not to mention that the rooms look nothing like the pictures online.
Staff is wonderful. The motel in conveniently located and comfortably priced. The bed was great! The motel itself is a bit shabby. It really does need brightening and updating. The middles are clean, but edges (rooms, hallways) need regular vacuuming. We would stay there again. The pluses outweigh the rest.
Really bad hotel experience!
Not terrible compared to other motels along Route 1, however the problem is with items one won't see till you have spent that hard earned $$. Only 1 wall outlet worked which forced my handicapped friend to sleep in his wheelchair! He had to chose between getting a good night's rest and having a dead battery on his wheelchair or charging the chair. He called the front desk to explain his dilemma and was interrupted by Mr. Patel; "do you want stay extra night sir? I'm very busy". F for customer service.
Room was nice, though a little on the small side. Good rates. Will stay here again.
So I lived in this place for over a month. I can't give it 5 stars because it is obviously not an amazing hotel. But you get what you pay for. The breakfast buffet is decent, the cleaners are good in my opinion but probably not if you're particularly anal. The service is friendly and always available. A lot of sketchy activities seem to go on here but everyone is mostly quiet and polite and keep to their own business.
