Not a whole lot of parking but a nice little park and decent pavilion.

I also purposely never work in or travel to prince George county because of their BSL. So while I'm here I'm always double checking to make sure our outings are not in PG county. Even though my hotel & this nearby park is in Howard County, & as a long-time owner & foster of rescued bully breed dogs, I always aspect my 1st time in an area with my "pitbull" type dog to be a mixed reaction from people. So I always brace myself the 1st week in a new area. The 1st time I came to the park, someone called the police on me saying I was trying to feed a cat to my dog. WRONG!!! The cop chuckled at the absurdity of the call when he saw the situation for himself. I'm STILL not amused by it.

I walk my dog here almost every day. It's a decent neighborhood park so long as the kids who live across the street aren't riding their dirtbikes around it.

I am visiting the area for a few weeks on a work assignment, & I always bring my dog (a staffordshire/bully mix) & cat with me when I travel for work. This is where I bring them when housekeeping needs to clean our hotel room or when we just need a touch of nature to remind us if home. Overall, most of our visits here to the park have been pleasant, not all but almost all.

Very peaceful. Good place to play baseball basketball and to have a picnic or go to the kids park . I love it

But anyway, since then our visits to the park have been rather pleasant & uneventful the way I was expecting it to be. So I won't judge this parks experiences based solely on my 1st visit.

Good place. Sometimes quiet sometimes not when it's busy. Feel safe bringing my dog & cat here because all dogs are leashed & under control. There are 2 separate entrances & parking lots, green spaces with shade trees, water fountains, pond, pier, benches, gazebo, picnic tables, playground, sports fields, & paved walking paths.

This is a quiet place with plenty of shade. I enjoy coming here to eat my lunch some times.
